there are people who like xvid, and i want to keep them happy.
in that sense the question about which is technically better doesnt matter,
not saying i know or there even is an awnser
(thats about libxvid support in ffmpeg not debian linking ffmpeg to xvid which
is the debian maintainers thing to decide not mine)

i started working on one but havnt worked on it since a long time so i wouldnt
