true, we found a bug in your speech synth that leads to repeated words

and we do, ffmpeg is patent encumbered, and main(){} is free (with some luck)

what is meego? and who uses fedora after having tried any other major distro?

if so why do you complain?

dont use fedora and viola you have support for all the codecs
out of the box

and with ffmpeg it just works, no annoying questions to the end user,
no download needed, no net connection needed.

Thats just besides that automated install of patent encumbered things will make
the core be patent encumbered too if the automatically installed things are.
If it was otherwise SW patents would be unenforceable and every company would
just install that part seperately after asking the user "do you want this to
work?"

I think its a shame such distros are shiped anywhere but the next garbage dump

Many things microsoft did are stupid, but not doing something just because
microsoft did it is even more stupid. If everything ms did were stupid they
would be bankrupt already.
