Sorry, I'm messing up badly here.

Can someone explain me why ffmpeg.c would output all-zero sound (all
numbers appear to be NaN), whereas ffplay.c outputs audible sound
(from the very same build)? I'm confused.

Needless to say, I need to check the patch further because of the
above. Please disregard it.
