Patch attached for the documentation. Diego, Mans, what do you think?

I've changed the FATE boxes to use "make -r" and there was no problem.
By the way, the fact that cygwin now fails "make test" is unrelated to
that change. It always failed, but I had the FATE box misconfigured so
make test wasn't being run. It was like this for about 2 months now =(
