No, it's bad if it's broken, and the solution you suggest so far is very
broken (and related to M?ns rant, Apple likes to ship very broken
compilers and other developer tools).
Anyway the (probably only) correct approach is to use e.g.
CFBundleCopyResourceURL and is a real fun to use without riddling the
code with OS-X specific stuff.
