yes so dont wait for a review from me. Anyway seeking in TS was so broken
last time i checked
that theres no way changed seek behaviour could make it worse (unless it
breaks something else ...)

also speaking of seeking one issue that has not been mentioned yet are
timestamp discontinuities, i dont expect anything to be done about that
before the release but its surely also something that should be thought
about ...
