This is true. People have suggested something called Mozilla Canvas. I'm 
not all that thrilled about having to reinvent an entire graphing 
library with (essentially) PutPoint() and DrawLine() methods.

I also entertained the idea of SVG. But I don't want to think about the 
amount of textual information I would have to send down in order to 
render a proper graph.
