MTU on ethernet is 1500 (without ethernet header - 2 mac address + 
length field)
from that you need to subtract 20 bytes IP header + 8 bytes UDP header
so 0x5c0 bytes are left for transport. However 2 times 0x500 bytes is 
not too bad to have, as they just build one video frame. That therefore 
saves additional checks for if a new frame has already started.
