[FFmpeg-devel] start_time issue

Hi.

I have following problem:

I have clip with stream with non-zero start_time. And I want to get as a
result correctly synchronized clip. Setting start_time option does offset
instead of absolute pointing. Why that scheme is used? May be will be useful
some option to cut inputs on common barrier - as in shortest option, but in
beginning.

I offer to change "-ss" option semantics to absolute pointing, not offset,
or add new such option or something like this.
