Your GNU assembler is probably built with a default CPU supporting that 
instruction...

Any CPU implementing PowerPC ISA V2.06. That is, POWER7 and probably some 
newer e500. For the former, I pretty doubt it's mainstream. ;-) I don't 
know for the latter.
