LD_LIBRARY_PATH is supported with the same meaning on glibc, uclibc,
OpenSolaris (and I thus guess Solaris too), FreeBSD and NetBSD.

I know it's long but I wouldn't know how to break it sincerely, if you
have any ideas, as for not doing the right thin, what do you think
exactly is wrong?
