Maybe, it would be useful to have a list of things which have to be done
(listed in order of increasing difficulty, so that even not-so-skilled
developers can help...).
And maybe a list of references/papers/web links that one should study
in order to be able to do some snow work.

For example, I would love to help with snow (when I find some spare time :),
but I do not really know where to start from (and I do not know what I
need to study for working on snow).

Just an idea... (sorry if it has been already mentioned in the past)
