I mean NOT using information the outside is not supposed to have

If i ask you for a random number would you give me your credit card number?
No?
Do you feel more secure if you gave me a MD5 of your credit card number?
How long do you think would i need to brute force the space of all credit
card numbers to find it from the MD5? And note 1 digit is a checksum
and the first 6 identify the bank according to wikipedia.
