If you really think this can be a (L)GPL violation, you can see 
http://www.popcornhour.com/download/firmware_update.html and 
http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/NMT:firmware . (Tip: sudo losetup 
-o 76 /dev/loop1 01-15-080123-14-POP-402-000.bin; sudo mount /dev/loop1 
-t romfs /mnt ). Just the decryption key is missing. You can contact the 
guy from http://www.lundman.net, I think he can telnet to his box and 
see the files.
