Hi,

I am converting some oddly shaped videos into a common resolution, and need to
add pad bands around the image to preserve image aspect ratio.  As far as I can
tell, ffmpeg does not currently support calculating pad band sizes
automatically.

I have attached a patch adding the '-letterbox' option, which will automatically
calculate the correct pad band sizes for either letterboxing or pillar boxing.
