In just over a month's time, LinuxTag 2008 will open the gates at
Messe Berlin for all fans of open source software to enter and admire
the wizards, gurus and hackers behind all the fantastic code. As in
previous years, FFmpeg will be manning a booth (together with MPlayer
and OGP).

If you feel part of the project, and can afford a plane ticket to
Berlin, please consider joining our forces at the booth. You'll spend
the day hanging around the booth, basking in the admiration of our
beloved users (they actually pay *real money* to come and talk to us),
exploring the rest of the exhibition, meeting new and old friends (and
foes) from other projects, or listening to interesting presentations
on a wide range of topics. From collecting free CDs, to engaging in
real-life flame wars, anything can happen.

Evenings pass into night to the enjoyment of food and drink in the
company of fellow FFmpeg hackers (unless you decide to defect to
another project). One evening will feature LinuxNach, the special
party organised just for LinuxTag attendees. There will no doubt also
be time for the adventurous to explore the city.

If this kind of thing appeals to you, let me know immediately so I can
add you to the official FFmpeg staff list. Those on the list receive
free entry to the exhibition, and are eligible to purchase an
exclusive limited edition FFmpeg T-shirt (design yet to be decided).
