Elementary stream is a well-defined term for MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 video.
However, for H.264 is it not.  The word "elementary" is not mentioned once
in the H.264 spec.

That's hardly an authoritative reference.  Besides, it doesn't mention
H.264 either.
