well, you might be unaware but this is the development list for ffmpeg
its not the user question, comments and bugreports list for kdenlive

if you have a problem with ffmpeg please see bugreports.html

if you have a problem with kdenlive, iam sure it does also have some
guidlines about where and how to report bugs and i suspect thats not
"report to both ffmpeg-user and ffmpeg-dev" btw, NEVER crosspost to
ffmpeg-user and ffmpeg-dev

and about known problems, we do have bugtracker, which you can look at
to see what problems are known
