Actually the letter from FSF ends with:
  "... Because of this, I would have to say that this text
  is an additional requirement, and as such is not compatible with the GPL."...
And goes on to talk about tainting.

I have no idea where you and your friends got the idea that it IS
compatible and why you have voted about making package out of it.
Maybe because you all read only the start of the letter.
I really hope you are not distributing it.
