[FFmpeg-devel] Test PowerPC cpu detection

Hello,
could some of you PowerPC users test attached patch?
It might be a (convoluted) way to add proper runtime cpudetection,
but it needs kernel support because some idiot thought reading the
processor version should be a privileged instruction.
Emulating it was implemented in Linux 2.6.17 though, and I'd like to
know if it works for you and if it maybe works on other operating
systems as well.
