Also...a refresher on the platforms affected would probably be in  
order. Sorry to drag this out...

This seems to affect Windows Mobile devices and Windows Media Player  
for Mac. I assume they share the same older "not x86/Windows" codebase.

Affected:
Windows Mobile v5
Windows Media Player 9:Mac

Affected by the previous "stuttering" problem fixed a month ago,  
currently play libavformat .asf/.wmv fine:
Flip4Mac QuickTime WMV Components
Windows Media Player 10 for Windows
