That is actually how it is now.
The idea was to have several pre-canned files that can
be put in place with `cp`. The idea was to save
editing files. I wanted people to be able to turn on a
working ffserver implementation immediately, with no
hassle. The settings differ enough in each example
that it can become an editing nightmare. My experience
was that a good setup was a "tuning" exercise. It is a
balance between multiple inter-dependent settings.
Each file also has a tweakable range, and that range
is indicated to some extent in the comments in the
files. These settings were arrived at through some
very insidious, nasty, and mean-spirited testing
procedures directed at my computer, in which it
refused to relent in its ability to discern a one from
a zero.
It can be published in any way that works best. I
will work on the changes suggested just a short time
back, then resubmit.
