[FFmpeg-devel] Call for a richer apiexample.c

Dear all,
I have been trying for four days to read a stream with
libavformat/libavcodec using av_open_input_stream() and URLProtocols.
While reading a video from a file is quite simple and already
documented in apiexample.c, the later lacks some sample stream reading
usage description and I now feel really lost.
Could anyone provide me, as an update of apiexample.c or not, with a
working example of reading a video and outputting frames info to the
standard ouput from, say, stdin ?
