Still didn't apply properly. I believe that last hunk from tcp.c was 
unnecessary (tcp.c was already being altered by the patch). Attached is 
the same patch against r6844.

It compiled alright. All I tested was input from http:, which worked 
perfectly. I don't really know what else to test, since I know little 
about this kind of streaming media. Suggestions?
