I just remembered that we have a great collection of samples here:

luckynight.wav.bz2 is the original audio data ripped from a CD. It was 
compressed with each of the known lossless algorithms (except MLP; no 
public encoder). Thus, if you decode luckynight.m4a to a WAV file it 
should be the same as the original, header cruft nonwithstanding.
