[Ffmpeg-devel] Avid meridian codec?

Hi,

Does anyone know if encoding files as generated by the avid meridian
codec is supported under ffmpeg? As far as my tests show, the files can
be decoded by ffmpeg, and show up as using the mjpeg video codec.

But I am unsure as to what I need to do to export files so that external
applications would recoginse them as using the meridian codec.

Can ffmpeg do this?
