For the little it's worth: I like this version of the logo (even though
I agree in principle with those who say 'the fast-forward symbol is a
better mnemonic image'), with the one exception of the fact that it has
the name "FFMPEG" in all caps instead of properly mixed as "FFmpeg". I
do not insist that the final four letters be actually drawn in
lowercase, but at a minimum they would need to be smaller IMO.

IIRC one of the earlier versions of the "zig-zag plus name' logo had
this aspect correct, but the zig-zag itself looked ugly; this one has a
better zig-zag, but has lost the capitalization.

(I haven't sat down to do the work myself because I don't know the
format the files involved are in, and don't think I have software -
other than probably the GIMP, which I can barely use - to write it.)
