According to PPC devs, Apple's GGC just produces better code than FSF
GCC when it comes to intinsincs (at least, that was the case back in
the GCC 3.3 days). Sometimes, FSF GCC just miscompiles them, which is
even worse.

I'm attaching a new patch which should be cleaner that the one
proposed. It was provided by Nicolas Plourde on MPlayer's mailing list
(I know the policy is to create a new thread, but as both patches aim
at doing the same thing...).
