A very good suggestion, but where does one find a [tsc]zap tool which
parses those extra pids?  linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.x doesn't do this.

I've just put my version of szap up at

http://www.malloc.de/tools/szap-wg.c

which parses extra pids in channels.conf appended with '+' (like
mplayer I think).  Except for standard dvb headers, the src should be
stand-alone..
