It is very difficult to understand the problem by simply looking at the
code you posted, since it is not complete and it uses some buffers that
are allocated somewhere else... Maybe the buffers are not correctly
allocated, causing the crash.
Also, it looks like you are using "xbuffer" and "ybuffer" without
initializing them?
