You _want_ to use vim, you just don't know it yet.

- Nice syntax highlighting: Check
- Can use arrows to navigate: Well, "hjkl" is your friend, but if you 
insist on using the arrow keys: Check

But the best feature is, once you start using vi(m), all of your other 
weird character traits just pale in comparison. ;-)
