   Exactly.  At my work I am a team lead and I actively encourage people 
to use different compilers when building our project: MSVC 6, Visual 
Studio .NET, GCC and Code Worrior.  Your code might compile cleanly on 
cone compiler and yet still have warnings or errors on another. 
Generally the more compilers you use the cleaner your code gets.
