[Ffmpeg-devel] [PATCH] Export numeric build numbers into .pc files

Hi all,

this patch writes the build numbers into the .pc
scripts, so they can easily be obtained with e.g.

pkg-config --variable=build libpostproc

Same for lavc, lavf and lavu. Having this would make it
really easy to make programs depend on a particular ABI,
independent from major versions/releases.

Hope it's no problem that the patch uses awk (it's
easiest in this case), but I hope that all systems,
which have sed, will also have awk.
