Ot says ffmpeg is currently not installed. Does anyone ha da similar situation or knows how to fix this ?

When I close the terminal and open it again, typing "ffmpeg" causes info message that ffmpeg is not installed. navigating to /home/my_account/bin/ where ffmpeg is inside makes no difference
