[FFmpeg-cvslog] GIT checkout

[bob paulose appackan]

Could you kindly tell me the version that I could use. I am not getting
a clear idea on how to conclude whether a version is stable or not. 

Basically, I have 2 questions:
1. Which is the most stable latest version.
2. In future, how can I check the most stable latest version.
