Iam the leader of the project and iam responsible for the quality and
accuracy of the information on the download page of ffmpeg.org
We might be forgetting to mention issues and we might be too busy to
add an exhaustive list of known issues but we will not knowingly
withold information about known issues in the releases from our users.
And i dont care if its written on some unrelated page somewhere, or if a smart
user can deduct it from common sense and noted dates, clearvoyance
of how stable svn is and how many features have been added.
An average user cannot even know if svn has had a single commit since
the release was cut. The dates alone are not sufficient

some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader. -- Plato
