AFAIK the only problem is that probably nobody knows what exactly
we need to check for, and it might be a whole lot of things we have
to check for.
That is all I can say for this.
I wouldn't mind just removing it and adding proper checks for specific things
once we hear of people having issues, but I am not the Windows port maintainer
or anything like that...
