This change looks kind of strange. Yes, before this there were two
fragmentary sentences, but now this effectively *does* form a
grammatical sentence which would deserve a period; in the current form,
the (c) would be read as the word "copyright", and would constitute a
verb.

Probably the ideal thing to do would be to rephrase this and/or split it
onto multiple lines to avoid the question altogether, but I personally
find the current form of this at least as wrong as the previous.
