I do not know what kind of dependencies your are thinking of, but I mean
the kind of "you can not use the asf demuxer properly unless you use a
protocol supported via lavp and you can not use lavp properly unless you
also use the lavf asf demuxer".
It's not that bad, but as the general idea.
