Actually it does at least for longer text. Most people read in full
blocks, and even such simple things as missing punctuation of all kind
or not using upper-case correctly mean that each time you have to read
those words explicitly instead of taking the whole block in in a single
glance.
Well, I can't promise that this is exactly what happens, but I know that
reading your mails (and other people who write similarly on
MPlayer-users) is much more effort to me.
Which for -users means I don't even read such mails (even with English,
it takes me about 0.5 seconds to notice if someone used upper-/lowercase
correctly) and I mostly only skim your mails to check if there is
something that is of interest to me specifically.
Btw. to me spelling errors are much less of an issue than wrong
upper-/lowercase (weirdly, even with English) and missing punctuation
(and this for some reason includes the ').
