Compile of MPlayer breaks for me now, with "No rule to make target
`../common.mak'. Stop.", in libavcodec/. (Presumably the same would
happen in libavformat/ and libavutil/ as well.)

Is it just that this change is so new that no one else has yet tried to
recompile MPlayer after the update, or are other people not in fact
experiencing this problem?

(I'm not entirely sure what would need to be done to bring the MPlayer
side into compliance with libav*'s new way of doing things, or I'd just
do it and submit a patch myself.)
