I now have 

libpostproc-CVS.so
libpostproc.so

as files, which looks good to me, but the sonames say:

libpostproc.so (good?)
libpostproc.so. (what the..?)
libpostproc.so.0 (good?)

It looks like libpostproc.so. should actually be libpostproc.so.52.0.0
or similar. CVS is from 2006013, but I don't remember any work on this
after that.
