This introduces a hyphenation inconsistency; the new text uses
"POSIX-compatible", but two lines above it we have "POSIX compatible".
IMO the version with the hyphen is better and more correct, but
regardless we should be consistent about this.
Warning: Simply because I argue an issue does not mean I agree with any
side of it.
