The reference source is very bad and I'm trying to make it better in whatever 
way I can. Starting from scratch there's no way I can see to be able to write 
the codec from the specification, at least not for me. Its documentation of the 
decoder is very sparse. Maybe someone who had already written all the LPC stuff 
before would have been able to do it.
