BTW the funny thing is that AFAICT channel coupling in vorbis is 
redundant, ie. it only makes decoding slower but doesn't improve 
compression - because for stereo (this is when c.c. is used) the left 
and right mdct coefficients are coded with the same VQ codeword , so 
IMHO there would be no difference in compression if instead of angle + 
magnitude, simply the left and right coefficients were coded.
