Shouldn't these last two names be capitalized? AFAIR, the names of
codecs themselves do have capital letters, it's only the specific option
names (etc.) which don't.

Although I've had a hard time finding arguments to support it, I still
maintain that "different ... than" is not valid, In some cases avoiding
it requires extensive rephrasing and so may not be worth the effort, but
in other cases - as here - all that is required is to say "different ...
from" instead.

Also, is there any particular reason why - despite the practice in most
other parts of the file - this long line is not split up into multiple?

Missing comma after "MPEG-1/2". This is necessary because the commas are
being used to delimit a part of the sentence which could be omitted and
still leave a grammatically valid sentence, albeit one containing less
information. Alternately you could drop the first comma and replace
"like" with "such as", but that seems unnecessarily intrusive.
