...what happened here? From a comparison between what I have in my local
tree and what's in CVS, there was considerably more to the changes than
just what appeared in the mailing-list diff; my first guess was
"it was automatically cut down to be under a certain size", but the diff
on my end comes to only 47K, which is rather smaller than the largest I
have in this list's archives (172K). Did a "do not suppress lines"
setting get lost in the recent server breakdown?
