Which repository did you use as libdvdread is in Subversion as far as I
know.

Building `libdvdread` with debugging symbols and attach to it with GDB
and printing out the actual values (and trying to override them), might
be worth a shot.

I have to run, so just my first stab by asking: “Might this be related
