I applied your change to my mplayer/libdvdnav source and dvdnav:// is 
unbroken again. r1245 actually broke everything whether it had a menu or 
not. I usually rip DVDs only with the main title (no menus), they played 
fine before r1245.

Any way I haven't run into any problems with your patch yet with dvdnav://
