Hi,

I have been trying to sort this problem out that is occuring using both
totem and vlc in ubuntu 10.04 (packages from apt). It seems to be a problem
reading the encrypted title, wherin the player just opens and closes without
showing any error. Running from the terminal produces:

r at r-laptop:/usr/share/doc/libdvdnav4$ vlc

I also just tried installed mplayer from source and I get a similar problem.
Here is the output of that:

MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: open_stream
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't
and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible
bug.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Please let me know if I
can help at all, too.

Thanks,
Rich
